Cluster Level Cricket for under 16 held in the Vidyalaya from 22-10-09 to 24-10-2009

P.Srinivas of Class X stood first in the 12th Junior Maths Olympiad at Regional Level and stands in the 18th position at National Level

G.Ravi Teja of Class X stood second in the 12th Junior Maths Olympiad at Regional Level and stands in the 33rd position at National Level

The overall pass percentage of the school for the academic year 2008-09 is 99.7

About our Principal:

Sri.B.Vijaya Varma, Principal, KV,ONGC, Rajahmundry has been serving KVS for a whopping number of 26 years. Having joined KVS in 1983, he still exudes incredible exuberance and effervescence. He happens to be erudite to the core having done his post graduation in Chemistry as well as in Sociology. He has also done his M.Ed and therefore the field of pedagogy is his forte. with thirteen years of rich and solid experience  as PGT in Chemistry and then donning the role of Principal in Navodaya Vidyalaya (3 years) and KVS since 2001.

Our School

                                       Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Rajahmundry was established on 14.02.1992 in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh with the patronage of the ONGCNestling in the greenery of the eco-friendly ONGC campus, the vidyalaya has been nurtured by the parental care of the ONGC Authorities and today it is marching confidently towards its desired goals with head held high. It is especially privileged for the best physical facilities and the superb maintenance. Thanks to ONGC RAJAHMUNDRY. This esteemed vidyalaya is led by Sri.B.Vijaya Varma, Principal and well co-ordinated by the STAFF MEMBERS , under the guidance of the Regional Office.It is a single section school from classes I to XII, with Science Stream at plus 2 level.
